Winnipeg police took three men into custody Sunday after an armed home invasion in the 400 block of Stella Avenue.

The suspects arrived armed and wearing disguises as they demanded a 14-year-old girl give them access to a neighbouring suite.

Once inside, the suspects ordered five adults to get onto the ground and robbed them of their personal belongings. Two more people sleeping upstairs were also robbed, while the suspects filled up a bag with video games found inside the home.

Police arrived and arrested the men on scene, where they also seized a machete and sawed-off shotgun.

John Peter Roulette-Linklater, 25, Terrance Ryan Asham, 25, and Julian Russell Hawk, 40, face numerous charges, including break and enter and kidnapping offences.

Police say Hawk is also responsible for several commercial robberies on November 15-16, where cash and cigarettes were stolen.
