WINNIPEG — Saskatchewan Avenue from Cavalier Drive to Hamilton Avenue is closed beginning this morning until 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
The closure, which went into effect at 7 a.m., is to accommodate roadwork. Both eastbound and westbound lanes are closed to vehicles, as well as to pedestrian traffic.
Access to Saskatchewan Avenue from the Sturgeon Creek Greenway Trail will be closed for the duration of construction.
Motorists should allow additional time to get to their destinations, and use alternate routes.
