Winnipeg police are looking for two men after a taxicab was stolen on Tuesday night.
It happened in the area of Polson Avenue and Aikins Street when the driver was carrying two fares. One of the passengers took out a sharp object and demanded money. The driver turned over money and got out of the vehicle before the suspects drove off in the cab.
Air1 located the taxicab in an alley in the 200 block Cathedral Avenue after it had collided with a fence.
The suspects weren’t inside, but are described as both being Indigenous, between the ages of 20-25, 5’5″ – 5’10” in height with thin builds.
