WINNIPEG — An upcoming public open house will look at adding another protected bike lane in the Exchange District.
The city is proposing a lane from William Avenue to Higgins Avenue to further connect north Winnipeg and the Exchange District with downtown and the Assiniboine Avenue cycling network.
The lane would complete the Princess Street bike connections between William and Higgins.
Winnipeggers can view the proposed preliminary design and provide feedback on Wednesday, December 5 from 4-7 p.m. at Red River College’s Roblin Centre Dining Hall, 160 Princess Street.
The project and funding are subject to city council approval.
