WINNIPEG — If you frequently use McPhillips Street, you’ll be happy to hear all lanes of traffic between Logan Avenue and Jarvis Avenue are now open.
The roadway fully reopened Sunday following work to lower the road surface through the underpass for improve truck clearance and the reconstruction of the road.
The west sidewalk will remain closed to pedestrians until a handrail is installed. Intermittent lane closures to the southbound curb lane will remain. However, all four lanes will remain open to traffic during the morning rush hour period. Pedestrians can use the east sidewalk in the meantime.
Work on the concrete median and final landscaping will be completed in spring 2019.
