A fireworks display to coincide with the 2018 Association of Manitoba Municipalities Gala will briefly close some downtown Winnipeg streets tonight.
From 8:15 to 8:45 p.m., the following road closures will be in effect:
- Southbound Carlton Street at York Avenue
- Northbound Edmonton Street at York Avenue
- Eastbound York Avenue at Edmonton Street
Pedestrian access will be maintained and motorists are encouraged to use alternative routes during this time.
