WINNIPEG — With snow in the forecast for much of the province over the next 24 hours, Manitoba Infrastructure is reminding motorists to adjust their driving habits and be aware of highway snowplows.

The province has a fleet of approximately 300 truck plows, de-icing equipment and motor graders. All equipment has flashing blue warning lights and drivers should stay well back of all equipment.

Manitoba Infrastructure says motorists should not attempt to pass a snowplow from behind while it’s in operation and slow down when passing approaching snowplows.
