WINNIPEG — The remains of missing grandmother Thelma Krull have been found outside the city more than three years after her disappearance.

Police confirmed Thursday that Krull’s remains were located October 27 by a hunter in a wooded area near Municipal Road 52 North and Chemin Perin Road.

Krull went missing July 11, 2015 while out for an early morning walk in the East Kildonan area near Valley Gardens. Since then, police have exhausted their efforts in the investigation, following up on several leads and eventually releasing sketches of persons of interest in the case.
