Manitoba RCMP have charged a 28-year-old woman in the death of a St. Theresa Point man.
Police say the 28-year-old victim was assaulted with a weapon on November 28 and taken to the local nursing station with life-threatening injuries. He was flown to Winnipeg and succumbed to his injuries on November 30.
Cheryl Lynne Mason from St. Theresa Point was arrested on December 1 and charged with manslaughter. She was taken into custody and appeared in Winnipeg court on Monday.
Island Lake RCMP continue to investigate.
