A Winnipeg man has been charged after he allegedly threw 49 grams of methamphetamine out of a moving vehicle while being followed by police.

Police spotted the vehicle driving in a questionable manner on Thursday in the area of Portage Avenue and Mount Royal Road.

Officers saw the man toss a bag out of the window as they began to follow him. The bag would later reveal to contain meth worth approximately $7,575.
