WINNIPEG — An 18-year-old woman was taken to hospital Friday night after she was sexually assaulted in the River Avenue and Osborne Street area.
Police were called at around 10:30 p.m., where the victim reported she was walking in the area when a man approached her and grabbed her arm. The victim was taken to an area between Pulford Street and Bole Street, north of Stradbrook Avenue, where she was sexually assaulted.
She received treatment in hospital for her injuries.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male in appearance, in his early to mid-20s, approximately 5’11” tall with a medium build and short dark hair. He was wearing a dark jacket and dark pants.
