Two Charged After Property Crime Spree in River Heights

Winnipeg police have arrested and charged two men after a series of property crimes in the River Heights area.

Police began their investigation in August after reports of numerous break-ins to garages, construction sites, a storage trailer and several mailbox thefts.

Jacob Alexander Barsalou, 23, and Nathaniel Leigh Chepesky, 25, were arrested on Tuesday. They face charges of possession of a weapon, theft under $5,000 and 12 counts of possession of property obtained by crime.
