Man Wanted for Allegedly Ripping Off Steinbach Bank of $80K

Manitoba RCMP are looking for a man who they say fooled a Steinbach bank into loaning him more than $80,000.

Police say the man entered the financial institution on July 25 and used stolen identification to obtain a bank draft for the amount. He then purchased gold at a business in Winnipeg using the draft.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, with brown hair and a beard, and was wearing blue jeans, a yellow reflective T-shirt and a ball cap.
