RCMP Seize Cocaine, Cash in Manitoba Traffic Stops

Two separate traffic stops in Norway House on Thursday yielded Manitoba RCMP marijuana, cocaine and a large sum of cash.

Mounties pulled over the first vehicle just after midnight and witnessed the driver throw a bag out of the window.

Police located the bag and found it contained 3,600 grams of marijuana and a large sum of money.

Three men, ages 24, 25 and 27, were arrested and have pending charges.

At around 11:30 p.m. the same day, RCMP pulled over another vehicle in the community and found 935 grams of cocaine. A 47-year-old woman and 45-year-old man — both from Norway House — were arrested. Charges against the two are also pending

Police are continuing to investigate.
