A 54-year-old Beausejour woman was killed Friday in a two-vehicle crash just south of Powerview-Pine Falls.
Manitoba RCMP say it happened just before 5 p.m. on Provincial Road 304 when the woman’s northbound vehicle collided with a southbound vehicle.
Police believe icy road conditions played a factor in the crash, which injured three people from Hollow Water First Nation in the other vehicle. The 66-year-old male driver and a 31-year-old female passenger suffered non-life threatening injuries, while a 60-year-old female passenger was taken to hospital in critical condition.
Police say alcohol wasn’t a factor and they believe everyone was wearing a seatbelt.
RCMP continue to investigate.
