Make way for A-Rod!
Three-time MVP and World Series champion Alex Rodriguez will keynote the 47th Annual Rady JCC Ken Kronson Sports Dinner in Winnipeg this spring.
The slugger amassed nearly 700 home runs during his 22 seasons in professional baseball, making him one of only 29 players to join the illustrious 3,000 hit club.
“We are beyond excited to have a first class athlete and person such as Alex Rodriguez coming to Winnipeg and be our keynote speaker,” said sports dinner chair Blair Worb.
“This year the Rady JCC (YMHA) will celebrate its 100th anniversary and we feel privileged to have a person like Alex joining us in our special year.”
