A Thompson RCMP officer is the subject of a probe by the Independent Investigation Unit over an alleged domestic assault.
The IIU was notified by Manitoba RCMP about the alleged incident involving an off-duty officer on January 5. No serious injuries were reported, but the IIU says it is in the publkc interest to investigate further.
No additional information will be provided until the probe is complete.
