A security guard at a Winnipeg Employment and Income Assistance office was stabbed Monday afternoon.
The 50-year-old victim was stabbed in the upper body at around 3:20 p.m. at 111 Rorie Street and sent to hospital in unstable condition.
Police say witnesses reported the suspect entered the building, jumped a counter, and crossed a protective glass barrier. The security guard was stabbed when he asked the man to leave.
