WINNIPEG — Seven grand prizes should help entice your decision to support the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation this season in the Mega Million Choices Lottery.
The lottery was officially launched Wednesday at one of the grand prize homes in Bridgwater Trails.
“The lottery is a tremendous opportunity for the entire community to support St. Boniface Hospital and Research Centre,” said Vince Barletta, president and CEO of St. Boniface Hospital Foundation.
“Supporting the Mega Million Lottery helps to ensure that St. B and its leading-edge patient care will be there for your family when you need it the most.”
A ticket in the lottery gets you in the draw to win one of seven grand prizes, featuring homes in Winnipeg and Headingley and homes in B.C.’s Okanagan, or $1.1 million tax-free cash.
Each grand prize home package comes with up to $400,000 in cash, or an all-cash option is available.
Aside from the big-ticket items, more than 3,700 prizes are up for grabs worth in excess of $2.3 million, plus the 50/50 draw can grow up to $2 million. Early bird and bonus prizes are also available.
“It’s absolutely critical,” Barletta added of supporting the foundation. “Every family in Manitoba benefits from the care here at St. Boniface Hospital, and the money raised is critical to ensure that patient care stays world class.”
Tickets are available online at stbmegamillionchoices.ca, or by phone at (204) 256-7203. Tickets are also available in-person at London Drugs, Red River Co-op food stores, select Shoppers Drug Mart stores and at St. Boniface Hospital.
