The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have extended the contract of defensive back Anthony Gaitor through the 2020 season.
Gaitor spent the 2018 season with Winnipeg after signing as a free agent from the B.C. Lions. He recorded two interceptions, two defensive touchdowns, two sacks and 27 defensive tackles in ten games.
The Miami native has recorded 100 defensive tackles, two sacks, five interceptions, four defensive touchdowns and two forced fumbles in 33 games.
Prior to Gaitor’s extension, his contract was to expire at the end of the 2019 season.
