The City of Winnipeg has put in place a declared snow route parking ban beginning at midnight Tuesday.

The parking ban applies to main routes, bus routes and collector streets to improve roadway conditions.

The ban is in place between midnight and 7 a.m. on all streets designated as snow routes.

Vehicles parked in violation of the declared snow route parking ban may receive a $100 ticket ($75 if paid early), and may be towed to the towing company’s compound.
