Selkirk RCMP are looking for six people after a liquor store was robbed in Lockport last weekend.

Police say five females and one male entered the store on Highway 44 around 10:35 p.m. Sunday and loaded up numerous bottles of liquor into baskets. They attempted to leave without paying, but were confronted by an employee.

Police say that’s when the staff member was threatened with bear mace and hit with a liquor bottle. He sustained minor injuries.

The alleged thieves took off in a black Chevrolet TrailBlazer southbound on Highway 9, which was last seen in Winnipeg.

Anyone with information is asked to call Selkirk RCMP at (204) 482-1222 or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
