WINNIPEG — No injuries were reported Friday night when a two-storey residence erupted into flames in the 400 block of Aberdeen Avenue.
Emergency crews arrived on scene at around 7:30 p.m. to find the fire well involved with thick smoke throughout the home. Firefighters launched an interior attack, but had to retreat to fight flames defensively after conditions deteriorated.
Everyone inside was able to make it out safely before crews arrived.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and no damage estimate is available.
