RCMP Crest LogoRCMP in Thompson, Manitoba Tasered a man last weekend when they say he was holding a person at knifepoint.

Police were responding to a domestic call at around 2:30 a.m. on February 11 when they encountered the armed man who was holding a female victim. Officers gave verbal commands to the man to drop the knife, but he ignored them and asked police to shoot him.
