University of Manitoba Searching for New President

The University of Manitoba is on the search for a new president to succeed Dr. David Barnard.

The university announced Wednesday the presidential search committee is engaging in a community consultation.

All members of the U of M community are invited to attend consultation sessions as part of the process.

Fort Garry campus
Thursday, March 7
12 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Bannatyne campus
Thursday, March 14
2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Theatre A, Basic Medical Sciences Building

Barnard has led the University of Manitoba since 2008. His run as president and vice-chancellor will end on June 30, 2020.
