Think you have what it takes to share an idea to spark conversation and community connections? TEDxWinnipeg would like to talk with you.
The annual one-day event will be held June 26 at the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre and gathers some of the brightest minds in the province.
“TEDxWinnipeg speaker application time is exciting. We give a global platform to those who may not otherwise have a way to share their ideas,” said Nicole Jenson, chair of TEDxWinnipeg.
“Each year, we see over a hundred amazing ideas put forth from talented, driven, innovative and game-changing community members.”
Those with ideas are encouraged to apply for the chance to “perform” and share their stories and experience.
Applicants can visit tedxwinnipeg.ca by February 28, 2019 at 10 p.m. CT The TEDxWinnipeg speakers committee will review all applications and those chosen will be contacted at the end of March. Chosen speakers will then be paired with a mentor who will help develop their idea and staging during the speaker preparation process.
