RCMP in Dauphin have arrested a 29-year-old woman after a home invasion on 2nd Avenue Sunday afternoon.
Police say a 55-year-old woman was unlocking the door to her apartment when someone approached her from behind. The suspect pushed the victim into the apartment and grabbed a knife from the counter before cutting the phone line. The victim was then forced into the bathroom while the woman searched the apartment and fled with several items.
Polie were able to track down the woman to a residence at around 8 p.m. the same day. Charges of robbery, forcible confinement and break and enter are pending.
