Daylight saving time returns early Sunday in Manitoba, March 10, when clocks across the province will advance one hour.

The official time change to daylight saving time occurs at 2 a.m. Sunday, when clocks should be set ahead to 3 a.m.

Daylight saving time begins on the second Sunday in March and continues until the first Sunday in November.

Emergency officials also say it’s an opportune time to change the batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
