WINNIPEG — One person was able to escape uninjured after a fire broke out in a Wildwood Park home Sunday afternoon.
Emergency crews arrived on scene shortly after 12 p.m. to the single-family home, where they found a fire in the attic.
Flames were brought under control just before 12:30 p.m. The home suffered fire, smoke and water damage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but preliminary observations suggest it was electrical. No damage estimates are available.
