Two women were assaulted Wednesday night at a Winnipeg bus shelter before two transit supervisors intervened.
Police were called to the area of Graham Avenue and Fort Street at around 7:20 p.m.
The suspect allegedly punched one woman and shoved another. Two male Winnipeg Transit supervisors were nearby and came to intervene, but were also assaulted. Neither of the four people assaulted required medical attention.
Glen Roger Asselin, 56, has been charged with four counts of assault, uttering threats and possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He remains in custody.
