Winnipeg police are investigating the death of a man in his 30s after he was seriously assaulted in the 100 block of Salter Street early Saturday.
Police responded at around 2:40 a.m. and found the injured victim, who was taken to hospital in unstable condition and later died.
Police say the assault likely occurred in the area of Salter Street and Selkirk Avenue. Investigators believe multiple people in the area may able to provide details regarding the deadly assault.
