The largest outdoor beach volleyball tournament in Western Canada is turning up the heat this summer.

Super-Spike returns July 26-27 at Maple Grove Rugby Park for two days of concerts, ultimate frisbee, and of course, volleyball.

The festival atmosphere will include musical headliners Delany Jane, The Funk Hunters, and Kardinal Offishall.

Team registrations for this year’s event are $49 per person through June 1.

Early bird weekend passes for non-tournament participants will be on-sale Friday, April 5 at 9 a.m., and can be purchased for $25 at superspike.ca. After June 1, the price will increase to $35.

Super-Spike, now in its 18th year, also acts as a significant local charitable fundraiser with more than $1 million raised to date for annually selected charities of choice. This year’s charities are KidSport Manitoba, The True North Foundation, and Volleyball Manitoba.
