Noise Complaint Leads to Cocaine Seizure in Brandon

Brandon Police Service CrestA noise complaint at a Brandon residence eventually led officers to a quantity of cocaine in possession of one of the people inside.

Officers were called to a home on Willowdale Crescent Thursday morning for a noise complaint. As they arrived, residents quieted down and police left.

They were called back for a second noise complaint about two hours later, where they found a 28-year-old Brandon woman intoxicated and uncooperative with police.

She was arrested for breach of the peace. While searching her, officers found a quantity of cocaine.

She was held in custody until sober and will appear in Brandon court on June 13.
