A senior couple was robbed Thursday morning when two men came knocking in the RM of St. Clements.

RCMP say the suspects tried to enter the home on Rebeck Road at around 12:40 a.m. A 71-year-old woman and 73-year-old man told the two to leave, but they kicked open the door.

One of the men had a weapon and told the couple to sit on the couch. They took off with a 60″ television and the homeowners’ vehicle after demanding their keys.

The vehicle has since been recovered, but the suspects remain at large.

They are both described as Indigenous males and approximately 5’9″ and 6’0″. Anyone with information is asked to contact East St. Paul RCMP at (204) 668-8322.
