A man was shot Tuesday night after four people burst into a Portage la Prairie home.
Police say the victim reported in hospital he was shot with a pellet gun at a home on 10th Street, but it was later discovered he had been shot by a real gun.
Police say three males — two with firearms — and a female were all dressed in black and wearing masks and gloves when they entered the residence.
One of the suspects shot the man and all of them fled on foot. RCMP believe the attack was targeted.
The 20-year-old victim remains in hospital in stable condition.
