A 73-year-old woman has drowned after falling into a pond while cleaning it.
Manitoba RCMP say the woman was on a property in the RM of Grassland Tuesday morning when the incident occurred.
A 52-year-old man was also cleaning the pond at the time and tried to retrieve her, but wasn’t successful.
The woman was taken to hospital and pronounced deceased.
Police are continuing to investigate.
