Two people have been charged in separate drug busts over the weekend in two Winnipeg neighbourhoods.
Police first executed a search warrant at a home in the Sturgeon Creek area on Sunday, where they found:
– Approximately 9 ounces of cocaine (estimated street value of $18,000)
– Approximately 1 kilogram of methamphetamine (estimated street value of $20,000)
– Approximately 6.5 ounces of methamphetamine (estimated street value of $4,500)
– Approximately 83 ounces of a substance believed to be a cutting agent
– Various packaging materials
– Two digital scales
– Mixing equipment
– A vacuum Sealer
Sage Lee Kehler, 29, faces drug-related charges and remains in custody.
Another warrant was issued in Wolseley, where police found approximately 3.5 grams of cocaine worth $250, four one-gram packages of cocaine worth $400, 45 grams of methamphetamine worth $1,000 and $21,000 in cash.
Erkan Kalkan, 29, also faces several drug-related charges and remains in custody.
