The Manitoba government is reconstructing and paving a 20-kilometre stretch of road near Arborg this summer.
The construction work on PR 326 will extend from Arborg to 2.4 kilometres east of PR 233.
“This roadway is seeing rapidly growing local industries including machine works companies, agriculture and other businesses,” said Premier Brian Pallister.
“These highway upgrades will improve worker safety and help local businesses deliver their products to market, and remain competitive here and around the world.”
A tender for a portion of the north-south section of the highway is expected to be issued later this month.
