Football fans who prefer to stand and mingle at Winnipeg Blue Bombers games now have a new way of doing it.
The football club on Wednesday announced the Jim Beam Social Pass, offering fans the option to purchase a $37 pass (one drink included) to stand in the north end zone of IG Field for the duration of the game.
The pass means fans won’t have to purchase an assigned seat and can enjoy the Jim Beam Stillhouse and the Rum Hut from kickoff to the end of the game.
“A contingent of our fans enjoy game days differently, spending the duration of games in the north end zone,” said Winnipeg Blue Bombers president and CEO, Wade Miller.
“With the Rum Hut, the new Jim Beam Stillhouse, the DJ booth and social atmosphere we’ve created in that area of the stadium, the next step was to create a pass for these fans to enjoy games their way.”
The pass will be available on a game-by-game basis only for the 2019 season.
