WINNIPEG — A man has turned himself in to police after being involved in a hit and run collision that seriously injured a woman in her 30s Wednesday night.
The woman was walking in the 1500 block of Portage Avenue at around 11:25 p.m. when she was struck by the vehicle.
She was taken to hospital in critical condition and has since been upgraded to stable.
At approximately 1:10 a.m. Thursday, a man flagged down police in the area of Garry Street and St. Mary Avenue to turn himself in. The vehicle involved was located in the Fairfield Park area.
