Valour FC Heading to Portage la Prairie for Training

Valour FC is taking its training routine on the road.

Winnipeg’s professional soccer team of the Canadian Premier League will hold a training session in Portage la Prairie on Saturday, May 25 as part of their rural outreach initiative.

“We are excited to get out and train in Portage la Prairie,” Valour FC head coach and GM Rob Gale said in a release.

“We hope to visit other areas throughout the season as we are a team for Manitobans by Manitobans. We look forward to seeing everybody out in Portage.”

Training will be held at Rotary Republic Park from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with a thirty-minute autograph session to follow on the pitch. Fans will be able to watch the session, meet Vic the mascot, and have the chance to purchase tickets to future Valour FC matches.

The team’s next home match is Wednesday, June 12 at IG Field.
