A Winnipeg firefighter suffered minor injuries Wednesday night while battling a blaze in a two-storey home in the 100 block of Pulford Street.

Crews launched an offensive attack on the multi-family home just after 10:30 p.m. The structure sustained considerable smoke and water damage.

No one was home at the time of the fire and the cause remains under investigation.
