Winnipeg Police Logo CrestWinnipeg police have arrested and charged a man after a robbery and stolen vehicle pursuit last week.

A beer vendor in the 2100 block of McPhillips Street was robbed at gunpoint on May 22, with the two suspects fleeing in a stolen vehicle.

At around 1:30 a.m. on May 23, police spotted the vehicle in the St. John’s neighbourhood and began a pursuit. The driver lost control about five minutes later on the highway ramp between the eastbound lanes of the Perimeter Highway and the southbound lanes of Main Street.
