Man Shot in the Face with Pellet Gun in Random Attack: Police

Winnipeg Police Logo CrestA 35-year-old man was shot in the face Monday afternoon in a random attack while walking down the street.

Winnipeg police say the victim was in the area of Consol Avenue and Louelda Street at around 3 p.m. when a blue, four-door vehicle approached him from behind. A shot was fired from a pellet gun within the vehicle, which hit the victim in the face.

He was treated in hospital for his injuries and released.
