Winnipeg police say the victim of a weekend assault has died.
Police were called to the area of Arlington Street and Notre Dame Avenue early Sunday morning for the report of an assault.
They say a man was located and transported to hospital in critical condition. He later succumbed to his injuries.
He has been identified as Justin Silicz, 32, of Winnipeg.
