The University of Manitoba Bisons have recruited six players for the women’s 2019-20 soccer team.

The Herd on Monday announced the commitments of Anna Biebrich, Alex Paul, Jessica Tsai, Rebecca Wilson-Abreu, Jane Morris, and Tabata Bravo.

“I am very excited to welcome six of our new recruits for the upcoming season. Four of them are local players, one is from Saskatchewan, and one is an international player coming from my hometown in Mexico,” said seventh-year Bisons head coach Vanessa Martinez Lagunas.

The Bison women’s soccer team is coming off a 6-5-3 season in Canada West play in 2018, where they qualified for the post-season, losing in the play-in round to UNBC (1-1; 1-3 in shootout).
