Night Fight Results in Winnipeg Homicide

Two youths have been charged in connection with the death of a 17-year-old male.

The evening of May 26, 2019, Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic and Winnipeg Police Services responded to an indent in the 300 block of Alfred Avenue where a fight ensued and one person was seriously injured.

When the male victim was found, he was taken to hospital in critical condition. However, he has died from his injuries.

The victim has been identified as 17-year-old Dorian Glenn Sanderson. Sanderson died from a gunshot wound.

On Tuesday, homicide detectives arrested a 15-year-old male, and he has been charged with second degree murder and remains in custody.

On May 26, 2019, another 15-year-old male was arrested in connection with this incident. He has been charged with assault.
