RCMP Search for 17-Year-Old Suspect in Machete Attack

Thompson RCMP are searching for a 17-year-old male youth who’s a suspect in an attack.

On June 4, 2019 around 9:40 p.m., Thompson RCMP learned a 14-year-old was chased by a group of teenagers with machetes near Juniper Drive. Later, it was reported two of the boys had machetes while they chased the victim.

When officers responded, the victim had found a safe place and he wasn’t injured. Patrols located the suspects.

On June 5, RMCP arrested a 15-year-old male youth from Thompson. He was charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose. He’s been remanded into custody.

Now, RCMP are looking for the second suspect connected to this attack.

Keathen Caillou Bradburn, a 17-year-old male youth from Thompson, is described as 5′ 8″ tall and 150 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. He’s wanted for assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.
