Manitoba Agricultural Museum celebrates 65 years of the Manitoba Threshermen’s Reunion and Stampede.

The museum is holding a vintage tractor parade through downtown Winnipeg on June 15.

The parade starts at 10 a.m. at the Forks and it’ll travel down Portage Avenue to the Assiniboia Downs.

Crowds will learn about former agricultural techniques. Agricultural machinery such as a 1945 BF Avery from the Manitoba Agricultural Museum’s collection will be on display plus a John Deere MX4 and 1952 Massey Harris.

From June 13 to 19, the machinery will be displayed at the Red River Exhibition with a steam engine and a threshing machine for demonstrations.

The Manitoba Threshermen’s Reunion and Stampede is held annually from July 25 to 28 in Austin, Manitoba.
