Cher won’t be making up her Winnipeg show after fans were left waiting for her to perform on May 21.
The iconic singer was to appear at Bell MTS Place last month as part of her “Here We Go Again Tour,” but wasn’t able to make it out on stage due to an illness. Concert-goers were already in their seats when a staff member made the announcement at around 10 p.m.
Promoter Live Nation advised fans that a new date would be announced within 48 hours of the show. A cancellation notice was issued Thursday afternoon, stating, “Due to scheduling difficulties, the recently postponed Cher performance at Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg has been cancelled.”
Fans who purchased tickets online or by phone will be refunded automatically. Ticket holders that purchased in-person are eligible for a refund at their point of purchase.
